Once upon a time, there lived an asparagus named Bob.  Bob lived in a grocery store in the fresh produce section.  He seemed to have everything a vegetable could want.  He was a lovely green vegetable who wasn't stuck frozen in a box.  He was a cool asparagus who all the other vegetables envied.  He was so tall and handsome.  One day, a lady came to the store and bought some asparagus, including Bob.  That night she cooked them and served Bob to her son, Michael.  Michael hated asparagus and refused to eat Bob.  Michael's mom told him that Bob was yummy and had scanty nutrients.  Finally, she gave up and sent Bob down the garbage disposal where he was chopped to pieces.
